As A PC football gamer, you have probably noticed that
don't get treated as well when compared to that of console
gamers. EA just gives us Madden while keeping their NCAA title
for the consoles, and 989, Microsoft and all other
gaming software companies have decided that PC football gamers
are not worth putting their product out for. They have decided
that there is no money to be made in PC gaming and that
consoles are the way to go.
Ever go to another football gaming website? Tired of having to
weed through all console-related information about stuff that
doesn't apply to us, because the software companies have
deemed the PC user unworthy?
Tired of being teased by seeing all the release dates
announced, then seeing "PC date announcement coming soon"?
Here at pcfootball.net, all the news, reviews, and related
content applies to you, and only you, the PC football gamer.
We do things a little differently here at pcfootball.net.
Rather than cover one title over all platforms, or all tiles
over all platforms, we cover all versions of titles over one
platform, the best platform, the PC.
Here at pcfootball.net, you, the PC football gamer, will
receive the preferential treatment you deserve. This is a
community of PC football gamers, by PC football gamers, and
for PC football gamers. This is a community where we PC
football gamers can unite, and demand the equitable treatment
that we deserve from the software companies. It is also a
community where you can meet other gamers like you, and
exchange custom teams, updated rosters, as well as tips,
hints, and cheats for various titles. You can join a on-line
league, or organize one of your own. Maybe you just want to
find a clean on-line opponent for an occasional game that
won't quit on you if losing, or use "cheese" to beat
you. You will
have several to choose from here.
Here at pcfootball.net, all the news, reviews, etc. will not
have the "spin" that it has on many other websites. Good, bad,
or ugly, we at pcfootball.net will always "tell it like it is",
unbiased, without fear or favor. While giving you the whole
story is often impossible because of how tight-lipped the
software companies too-often are, we will always share with
you everything that we know, holding nothing back.
This does not
mean that we are against talking about other games here
however. We freely welcome the discussions of other titles
that may not have to do with football. We recognize that our
community has grown since its inception and that we all play a
wide variety of games.
We also welcome
parents of gamers to come here and ask questions about games
that they might have. Want to know if a game might be suitable
for your kids? Ask someone here, we might know, or we can
direct you to someone who would know. We can also direct you
to other recourses for you to figure out what games are
suitable for your kids. Don't be afraid to ask, no one here
will think you're stupid.
Hopefully, once more software companies, websites and news
outlets catch wind of the
existence of this site, they'll come and check it out. We
believe they
would be foolish to overlook this opportunity for free market
research. When they do look over our community, they will see
that the demand does indeed exist for PC football games, and
subsequently, the smarter companies will re-enter the PC
football gaming market. The subsequent competition will force
all software companies to increase the quality of their PC
products, then both the PC football gamer, as well as the
software companies, will come out winners.
So, welcome to the PC football gaming community, and please,
feel free to contribute, ask questions, debate issues,
whatever, but don't forget the most important thing, which is
why we're PC football gamers to begin with...to HAVE FUN!!!
