I know, I know, a lot of you are
saying "David who?" Well David Holt was one of the
most influential designers in the early to mid-90's when it came
to creating a deep football experience for the PC.
David was
instrumental in creating NFL Pro League Football and All-Americain
College Football for Micro Sports Inc. The games were the first
of their kind, featuring teams from the beginning of the
AFL-days, and the best College teams of all time. Action on the
field was determined by the players stats for that given year.
One of the first games to offer a fantasy draft, stats tracking,
College Poll and Bowl Games.
In his career David has probably
been credited with more roles than we know. According to
MobyGames, David has been credited on games
developed by Revolution Software, Ltd., Micro Sports Inc, Empire
Interactive Entertainment, Maxis Software Inc., Griptonite Games
and Minds-Eye Productions.
Credits he has include Pro League
Baseball, Circle of Blood, Sheep and more recently The Sims:
Bustin' Out for the Game Boy Advance.
