| Before you register
for our sites forums, there are some things you will need to
be aware of to be able to complete the process...
Part of the registration process is that you will receive
an e-mail in your box telling you how to activate your
account. Too many new people to the site have not been doing
this. Their accounts have been put into a section called
"waiting for e-mail confirmation". That means these
people have not checked their e-mail accounts for the link
they will need to follow in order to activate their account
and begin posting in our forums.
For the past few months I have been manually moving these
people over to the "registered" section and
e-mailing them to let them know that they may begin posting.
So far very few of them have probably because they didn't
activate the account themselves and they are unable to post on
our forums.
It is vital that you check you e-mail box for a message
from this site as it contains a link for you to follow that
will activate your account. If the link does not appear to be
active in the e-mail, then all you need to do is copy the link
and then paste it into your browser address bar and click
"go" to get there. Once you do that you should be
ready to post.
I recently tested the registration system myself and it
seems to be working fine. So you should have no problems when
it comes to registering for this site.
So, to prevent any problems with any future accounts I will
no longer be moving new accounts into the
"registered" section. If you wish to activate your
account you must do so manually in order to ensure that
everything works properly. I'm not saying this to be a
hard-ass, I'm saying this because the system is very finicky,
and it only wants to work one way.
I appreciate everyone's understanding in this matter, and I
welcome you all to PCFootball.net.
